Annual Town Council Meeting

Attended together with Ward colleagues the Annual Town Council Meeting of Buckfastleigh Town Council.

Congratulations to Cllr. Rudgley, and Cllr. Armstrong on being elected Mayor and Deputy Mayor respectively.

A Little About Me...

Philip lives in Ashburton with his wife Helen.

He is involved with a number of organisations and groups both in the Town and further a field within Teignbridge, including Rotary.

He is an award-winning campaigner on affordable housing - an issue desperately important to many families locally and within the District.

He has been involved in the establishment of the Business Buddies Scheme and sees the promotion of micro-businesses, together with the growth of established businesses within Teignbridge, as important to the economy as and well being of the District.

A former Town Clerk to both Chudleigh Town Council and Bickington Parish Council, as well as a past Newton Abbot Town Councillor, Philip has had experience of local government from a number of aspects.

Down time activities include walking and gardening.
